Malmö Konstmuseum: Samlingen/The Collection

Malmö Konstmuseum s new presentation of the collection features art, craft and design spanning from the sixteenth to the early twenty-first century. From the publisher: The publication is richly illustrated, demonstrating the scope and depth of the collection, as well as its areas of specialisation. Larger collections within the collection are highlighted, alongside texts introducing epochs, works and artists. I Malmö Konstmuseums omfattande samling ingår konst, design och konsthantverk som sträcker sig från 1500-talet fram till 2000-talets början. Boken om samlingen rymmer ett rikt bildurval som både visar på dess bredd och unika specialspår. Större samlingar i samlingen lyfts fram tillsammans med texter som introducerar olika tidsepoker, verk och konstnärskap. Ytterligare texter ser på museets historia och samlingarnas förmåga att öppna upp för nya sätt att se på historia, samtid och framtid.
