Nature and vegetation came early to interest Swedish painter Björn Wessman, which also characterized his artistry. Views from walks in the world, botanical gardens and the forest around the studio in the Stockholm archipelago are recurring motifs in his colorful painting. Nature glows in his sensual landscapes that capture the dramas of the expanses and the mysteries of the parks. The exhibition catalogue includes works from the early eighties to the present, with concentration on recent years' work where most of the large and acclaimed paintings have not been shown before.

Naturen glöder i hans sinnliga landskap som fångar viddernas dramatik och parkernas mystär. Utställningen omfattar verk från tidigt åttiotal till dags dato, med koncentration på de senaste årens arbeten där flertalet av de stora och anslående målningarna inte har visats tidigare.
