With 288 pages, a selection of 157 images, and a critical apparatus featuring one essay by the internationally renowned curator Johan Deurell (Röhsska Museum, Zaha Hadid Foundation and Vitra Design Museum), an unpublished short story by Swedish author and sound artist Pär Thörn, and a long interview by Mattia Lullini, the book presents in full the first 9 years’ practice of one of the most relevant artists of his generation in Sweden.
From Marsja's institutional debut as the winner of the Maria Bonnier Dahlin Foundation Grant in 2019 to his latest exhibitions at the Gothenburg Museum of Art, Gammel Strand and Buffalo AKG Art Museum, this publication celebrates and opens to the public the full spectrum and richness of Marsja’s sculptural world.
